April Vacation

YEAHHHHHH!!! It’s finally here vactaion in April. I loove when we get a break from school, sure school teaches you stuff but come one we need a break once in a while and it’s finally here. Last year on April 20th I got my braces on so I didn’t like vactaion last year, but this year I don’t have to do anything. It’s a whole week of fun not doing anything that has to do with school unless you got homework. I heard that there is now a law that a teacher can not give homework over vacations anymore. That is like awsome. I don’t want it to be sunday of next week because that means that there is school the next day and vacation is over and you have to wait till next year. But we get to hang out with our friends and try to make the most of our vacation. Tomorrow is Monday but guess what I don’t have school!!! Yeah!!!!! I love vacation it’s loads of fun. Most of my friends left and went somewhere, but nto me i’m staying home and relaxing. I actaully can’t wait to go to school because I get to see all my friends and talk about vacation. YEAHHHHHH!!!

Virtual Classroom

If I wore a virtual teacher and teaching from my house I would have the kids do something on the computer. They would do research on a topic that we were learning about at the time. They would take the notes on there blog, and say how they found the information and where they found it. I would check their blogs and make sure that everyone is on track. The students would all learn something new and know how to find this information. The person with the most information on the subject would get a prize so that everyone will participate in the activity. The person who wins will not only win something but they also win the knowledge of something new. So everyone wins without really knowing. So that is how I would teach kids from home.

St. Patrick’s Day

Hey are you Irish? I’m Irish, more then 50%. I love St. Patrick’s Day!!! Did you know that St. Patrick, the actual guy, was from England and brought to Ireland as a slave. I didn’t know that till last year my social studies teacher taught us that. For some reason i’m like really interested about my ancestors and were I came from. My dad is all Irish and my mom is only a little bit Irish and like 5 or 6 different other countries, but i’m mostly Irish. I love the color green because if I wasn’t irish i probably wouldn’t like the color green or written this post. If your not Irish you can still celebrate the holiday. Also when I think of Ireland I think of the large area of land that’s all green. The reason why the grass is so green in Ireland is because it rains a lot there. When i’m an adult and have money I want to travel to Ireland and then after I go there I want to travel the rest of the world!!

High School

I actually can’t wait till next year. I remember when i was going to middle school one of my friends had a really weird dream. He mad me feel better about going to another school much different from my old school. The dream was that all the teachers were hippies and everything was what you would call the 60s. I stopped being scared It was the first day of sixth grade when he told me the dream. I’m excited to go to high school, it makes me feel older. My cousin is in high school in Cheshire, so if i need advise i can ask her about high school. My mom went to Sheehan High School also but that was a long time ago. I also have a friend who is in ninth grade this year and she tells me all about Sheehan. She also helped me on picking extra class. She is like a big sister to me so shes a lot of help. I thought i was going to be scared to go to high school but its just like moving from seventh grade to eighth grade, but much harder. I can’t wait to go to high school.

Martin Luther King Day

Why do we have no school on Monday? We don’t have school because its Martin Luther kings birthday. Why would schools across the country close to honor MLK? They closed cause he ended racism, no m0ore blacks and whites separation. What’s the point? Lets say that MLK was not born, the world would still be separated from black and whites. Would his legacy be better served by staying in school? We don’t have school that day because we are honoring him. They don’t think that there should be school on that day. It is to honor and thank Martin Luther King. Martin Luther King helped us a lot. He showed us what we couldn’t see, he showed us that we were all the same on the in side and that it doesn’t matter what skin tone you were we are all the same.

Democrat or Republican

If you were to pick democrat or republican what would you pick? I would pick democrat. Everyone has there own opions, I have a friend who is a republican and i don’t care. Everyone is different. I am a democrat because i beleive in the smae things that those kind of people believe in. Democrats and republicans might be very different, the opposite of eachother, but I’m juist saying you can still be friends with people who are not the party. Not everyone is going to be the same some people might bo in between both parties some might be just one and only one. It’s up to you to choose which party you are not someone else.

Message in a cell phone Commercial

It is about how no matter how crazy people sound they can be useful in the future. To me the video was saying that kids might sound crazy but people can us their idea sometimes. Some cell phone commercails are not just about the phones (listen very carefully). I am also goiong to be talking about how we have really improved our tycnologie in the past years.

Even thought people have crazy ideas you can just image what might happen in the future if you tell someone your idea. Watch the video at the bottom of this page and look what can happen. A person once thought of making a wireless phone, people thought that he or she was crazy but look at everyone now i know one or two people that don’t have a wireless phone. Crazy idea just might be useful in the future, i mean lots oh people have cell phones and i think that people made fun of the guy who had the idea of a cell phone. If you tell someone that their idea is crazy think again because if it the idea does work or is right about something you will either be one of the people who use the idea or will feel bad for think he or she is crazy.

How many cell phone commercials have you seen? A lot i bet but you probably never know why they make them So weird. It is to have you watch and not change the channel. Its to get your attention. Well if you watch the video at the bottom (press the link) you find out something really interesting. When i saw this commercial i wanted to watch it again and again but not because it was about a phone but it showed otehr things and then final got to the point which was a phone. It did not tell you that you had to buy the phone it talks about how it works and why you should buy the phone. It explains what you can use the phone for. They also use a little girl to get you to buy it and its very interesting i want to watch it again and again. Watch please it better then all the other cell phone commercials. Verizon wireless

All of our technology has improved soo much that we can carry around a radio (MP3). Our phones now have Internet, calling, pictures, texting, you can put it in your pocket, see who your talking to, play games, and also you can watch TV. Also there lab tops that are much better then computers. So much things that we can take with us on the road but my question is why, why are we doing all this?

Who I look up to

I really look up to my grandparents. They are the best. They come to all my recitals for dance and there at a lot of my brothers games. My meme (grandma) is always there, she makes my bed when she doesn’t have to. She helps out my mom a lot. She also comes to my cheer compititions. My papa (grandpa) comes in the morning to get my brotehr on the bus, because my dad is at work and my mom leaves at the same time my bus does which is an hour before my brother’s bus comes. My papa also takes our dog for walks, and when my family is on vacation he watchs our dog too. I lovwe my grandparents they are so suportive. I don’t know what I would do without my grandparents.
